At Peak District Birding Holidays we provide value for money Bird Watching holidays in the beautiful, stunning setting of the Derbyshire countryside, holidays that are informal, informative and fun. On our holidays you get the best chance possible of seeing your target birds along with the speciality birds of the uplands, birds such as Red Grouse, Dipper and Ring Ouzel. The holidays are midweek tours based on four nights accommodation, starting Monday morning and finishing Friday afternoon (see tour itinerary for details) You'll be staying in a traditional country inn set in the stunning scenery of the Peak District, a glorious location that few other counties in England can boast.

Whether you are an experienced birder with a target list of birds, or a new comer to birding just wanting to see as many new birds as you can, we welcome all levels and with at least 2 guides on all our walks we ensure we meet the needs of everyone. For those who are new to the Peak District you're in for an absolute treat (and if you've been before I'm sure we will still have a few new surprises for you). The holidays are great for those who want to improve their ID skills with tuition along the way and, for those who have specific target species they want to see we are delighted to build this into our itineries. Our aim is to inspire people to grow their love and appreciation of Birds.
The Peak District is the most southerly part of England where you will find many of the Upland breeding Birds. It has a range of different habitats that attract many different species at different times of the year. The Derbyshire bird list stands at over 300 species and is an excellent place to watch birds. The emphasis on our holidays is on enjoying the birds whilst soaking up the scenery. The days consist of great walks with a maximum of eight people, you have use of a high quality scope for really close up views to enhance your enjoyment of the birds, both the common and the less common. At all times we will follow the Bird Watchers Code of Practise so all birds are observed in a responsible yet thoroughly enjoyable way.
